User Research
Questionnaire
The survey comprised 24 questions distributed across three distinct sections. In total, we gathered 43 responses from users within our target group. Presented below are select questions along with their respective results

Benchmark
Competitive Analysis
Examining and analyzing competitors is a crucial aspect. To delve deeper into personal financial management applications, I evaluated some of the most popular ones among Iranian users. Here are the features of three applications: Parmis, Ghias, and Poolaki.

Define
Affinity Map
I used the Affinity Map to pinpoint common user problems and prioritize product features accordingly. This approach helped us better address user concerns, resulting in a more user-centric and effective personal finance program.

Define
User Persona
By grasping the expectations, concerns, and motivations of our target users, we can craft a product that not only satisfies their needs but ensures its success. Here, we introduce a user persona that outlines the requirements and preferences of our target audience.

Define
Empathy Map
During this phase, I organized the collected data using sticky notes and examined the identified needs.

Ideation
Brainstorming
Brainstorming is a group creativity and problem-solving technique in which a collective of individuals harnesses their combined intelligence to address a creative challenge.

Features
MVP Version: A Minimum Viable Product, or MVP, is a version of an application that includes only the fundamental features necessary for its basic functionality.

Product
MoSCoW
The MoSCoW method helped me prioritize the features we aimed to implement.

Flow Process
Information Architecture
We created a sitemap, which serves as a visual representation of the product's information architecture. This tool helps identify the various pages within our product and establishes the hierarchy between those pages.

Flow Process
User Flow
Utilizing user flows is instrumental in identifying inconsistencies in our thought process. They serve as an effective means to communicate ideas to stakeholders or team members without investing extensive design efforts. User flows enable us to examine tasks from the user's view.

Hi-Fi

Upon finishing the flowcharts, I initiated the design process. Initially, I documented our brainstorming ideas using Figma, an application that seamlessly combines robust design features with an efficient workflow. My considerations have already integrated features designed to improve the usability and accessibility of my application.

Guideline
Style Guide

Our goal was to choose a vibrant and visually appealing color scheme, complemented by a legible font, taking into account the application's usage on different phone sizes. This approach extends to color selection, icon design, component styling, typography, and logo creation, ensuring a cohesive and aesthetically pleasing user experience.

Test Phase
Usability Test
Using Maze, I performed structured user testing with an accompanying observer. Participants were assigned specific tasks and prompted to express their thoughts and feelings as they engaged with the prototype. The assigned tasks involved:Adding expenses or income. In the final phase of the project, we conducted user tests to assess the ease with which participants could achieve their goals. This approach gauged the accessibility and user-friendliness of the system. The insights gained from these tests proved invaluable in identifying and addressing our project's weaknesses, ultimately contributing significantly to its improvement.

User Feedback
During this study, we conducted both moderated and unmoderated tests utilizing the Maze tool. Our objective was to observe and analyze the interactions of actual users with our product, enabling us to implement essential modifications and enhance the practicality of the PRODUCT.

Key Learnings
Working on WealthWay strengthened my skills in UX research, UI design, and creating cohesive design systems. Step by step, I explored user needs, leading to intuitive features like transaction tracking, budgeting, and goal setting. While the app offers a solid foundation, further user testing and data analysis can refine features and enhance the experience. This project reinforced the importance of designing solutions that empower users to manage their finances with confidence.
